Today, the Disciplinary Committee of the Saudi Football Federation issued decisions to penalize both Al-Hilal and Al-Nasr with financial fines due to violations of regulations and laws. Al-Hilal was fined 10,000 Saudi Riyals after six of its players received yellow cards during the match, according to the referee's report.
Additionally, player Salem Al-Dosari, a star of Al-Hilal's first football team, was penalized for not attending the media interview following the game against Al-Nasr. He refused to participate in the interview, resulting in a financial fine of 20,000 Saudi Riyals, with the committee stating that the decision is non-appealable according to Article "139" of the regulations.
The Disciplinary Committee also fined Al-Nasr’s club president, Safwan Al-Suwaiket, for entering the field, according to the match observer's report, which resulted in a 20,000 Saudi Riyals fine.
Moreover, Al-Nasr goalkeeper Walid Abdullah was fined 1,000 Saudi Riyals for not wearing a facial mask as required, based on the health observer's report from the match. It is notable that the match saw the referee issue 12 yellow cards, with six given to each team in one of the hottest matches of the season.
