The national seismic monitoring network of the National Center for Meteorology recorded two earthquakes off the coast of Dibba Fujairah this morning. The first tremor was measured at a magnitude of 3.1 on the Richter scale at 04:54, and the second at a magnitude of 2.3 at 07:24 local time. The center stated in a statement that both quakes occurred at a depth of 5 kilometers and were felt by residents for a few seconds without any impact or damage. The center explained that these tremors are caused by fault lines in the area, noting that seismic activity has been monitored in this region for the past ten years since the establishment of the network, with activity ranging from light to moderate and potentially repeating several times a year, which is considered normal activity.
