Barcelona, which signed the player last summer from Manchester City, tweeted, "Aguero reported chest pain and was taken to the hospital for heart examinations."
Manchester City also sent a message of support to their former player saying, "Everyone at Manchester City wishes you a speedy recovery, Aguero. We are with you."
