The "Türk Telekom Arena" hosted the match between Turkish club Galatasaray and its guest Kasımpaşa as part of the 25th round of the current Turkish Super League season.
Galatasaray regained the top position in the league after defeating Kasımpaşa 2 - 1. In the first half, Galatasaray took the lead with a goal set up by Egyptian star Mostafa Mohamed, who headed the ball, but the guest team's goalkeeper saved it, allowing player Kerem Aktürkoğlu to net the ball in the 9th minute. Kasımpaşa managed to equalize in the second half with a goal from Isaac Lihadji in the 51st minute. However, Mostafa Mohamed refused to let the match end in a draw, successfully scoring the winning goal in the 89th minute via a penalty, which was earned by Nigerian striker Henry Onyekuru, and Mohamed struck with power to the right of Kasımpaşa's goalkeeper. As a result, Galatasaray raised its points to 51, topping the Turkish league table, leading by goal difference over rival Fenerbahçe, who is in second place with the same points after a hard-fought 2 - 1 victory against Fatih Karagümrük on Saturday. Meanwhile, Kasımpaşa's points remained at 26, placing them in 15th position.
