Yemeni Army Regains Control of

On Saturday, "Al Arabiya" and "Al Hadath" reported that the Yemeni army has regained control of the district of Hays south of Al-Hudaydah from the Houthi militia. The network's correspondent stated that the legitimate forces imposed control over the district after fierce confrontations with the militias, which suffered significant losses in the battles.

Intense fighting occurred on the southern fronts of Marib province on Friday night between the army and popular resistance forces on one side and the Iranian-backed Houthi militias on the other. Battles are raging on three fronts: the "Dhina" front near Al-Rawdah in Sirwah, the Al-Irif front in the Al-Jawbah district, and the Um Rish front in Harib.

Field sources confirmed that dozens of Houthis were killed or injured amid intensive air support from the coalition backing legitimacy in Yemen, which destroyed fixed and moving targets belonging to the militias. It is noteworthy that the Houthi militia had acknowledged the deaths of 14,700 of its members in the Marib battles since June.

On Thursday, the coalition supporting legitimacy in Yemen announced that it conducted 35 targeting operations against Houthi vehicles and personnel in Marib and Al-Jawf within 24 hours. It added that the targeting operations included the destruction of 24 military vehicles, while the human losses among the Houthis exceeded 200 militants killed. The coalition confirmed that 27,000 members of the terrorist militia had died in the Marib battle, adding, "They must bear even more losses."
