Jewelry and precious stone exports in Egypt have increased to approximately $2.162 billion compared to $1.228 billion during the same period in 2019.
According to the monthly report issued by the Export Council for Building Materials, Refractories, and Metal Industries, jewelry and precious stone exports accounted for 54.6% of the total exports of the sector during the first eight months of the current year. The report mentioned that exports were made to about 30 countries, including 6 countries to which exports were not made during the same period last year, namely Madagascar, Austria, the Czech Republic, the Russian Federation, Croatia, and Kenya.
