A mother in Britain faced severe criticism after accidentally posting an advertisement to sell her child. Lucy Battle mistakenly uploaded a photo of her seven-month-old son, Oscar, while trying to sell an old sofa from her home. She wrote on Facebook, "Urgent sale today," alongside the image of Oscar.
According to the British newspaper "The Mirror," Lucy said, "I made a huge mistake by choosing a picture of Oscar instead of the sofa from the photo file on my computer." She added, "I realized my error when I started receiving a lot of negative comments on my phone linked to the post."
Lucy continued, "Most of those who commented mocked me, while others attacked me, accusing me of not being the ideal mother who cares for and protects her children." She concluded her remarks to the British newspaper by saying, "I felt relieved when I deleted the post. I'll be sure to double-check before posting in the future and choose the correct images to accompany my posts."
