Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool forward, continues to shine off the field just as he does on it by winning another award. Mohamed Salah has been awarded the Golden Foot for the year 2021. While the Egyptian star was invited to the Ballon d'Or ceremony held in France, he was present in the Principality of Monaco for the Golden Foot award ceremony.
Interestingly, Mohamed Salah's wife received the award on his behalf, even though he was at the event. However, the player has not yet explained the reason for not accepting the award himself.
What do you know about the Golden Foot award? The Golden Foot was established in 2003 by the Principality of Monaco. The award is given to outstanding players both collectively and individually, who have excelled in areas beyond football.
One of the conditions for winning the award is that the player must be over 28 years old, and it is only granted to each player once in their lifetime.
