The Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar reported that during his visit to the Qatari capital, Doha, where he was received by Emir Tamim bin Hamad, the Prime Minister, and ministers, Lebanese Caretaker Prime Minister Hassan Diab surprised the Qatari officials he met by presenting copies of his CV to each of them. This action aimed to secure a job for himself after the formation of a new government, as he would cease to perform his current minimal caretaker duties. Al-Akhbar noted that Diab's move confused some attendees at the meetings he held, which were specifically focused on requesting assistance for Lebanon, particularly for financing a card that the government is considering offering to about 750,000 families as an alternative to support for essential goods.
