The Egyptian star Mustafa Fahmy complained about the behavior of his ex-wife, Lebanese media figure Faten Moussa, indicating that he is aware of many of her secrets but does not wish to reveal them. In a televised interview with MBC, Fahmy mentioned that he prefers not to disclose Faten Moussa's secrets because "she is a woman and will one day marry a man who can fulfill her dreams that I could not achieve."
Fahmy expressed his concerns that his ex-wife has "illegally entered the marital home and is currently living there, having hired a security guard for protection. He has also hired a security guard, and his ex-wife claimed that this person assaulted her along with the building's security guard, resulting in their detention at the Dokki police station. This is not true, and I cannot instigate an assault and have filed a report with the Public Prosecutor to investigate the matter since it is false."
On another note, Fahmy revealed that he was surprised by news in the newspapers stating that he was arrested for attempted murder of Faten Moussa, and he called for the Public Prosecutor's intervention "because my children and I feel threatened and I am currently staying in a hotel."
