The Egyptian national team won via penalties against Ivory Coast after a goalless draw in regulation and extra time in the Round of 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations. Marmoush started the match and played until the 71st minute, while Aston Villa player Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet also participated.
