Video: Arrested Individual Escapes from Police Car in Broad Daylight and Makes Odd Gesture

On the evening of May 31, an eyewitness captured on video the moment an arrested individual attempted to escape from a police car on the northeastern highway in Saransk, Russia. The arrested man took advantage of the fact that the vehicle he was in had become stuck in traffic. He easily opened the rear door, got out, and made a strange gesture to those around him, asking them not to make noise. He then headed off on his way back home. Law enforcement officers immediately noticed the escape and rushed to chase the man, quickly managing to return the fugitive to his place.
