Saad Al-Hammad, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, denied the validity of what has been circulated in some local media regarding the ministry's non-recognition of any paper employment contracts, which are not registered or documented, starting Saturday, January 1, 2022. Al-Hammad stated in a tweet on his official account, "We clarify that there is no truth to this; the contract documentation program is an initiative to enhance the protection of labor rights according to the mechanism announced by the ministry through its official channels." He urged everyone to ensure accuracy in conveying information and to obtain it from official sources.
