The Iraqi Ministry of Agriculture announced its approval to export 5,000 tons of tomato crops to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Iraqi Agriculture Minister Mohammed Al-Khafaji stated that the approval was granted for the export of 5,000 tons of tomatoes, which is surplus to domestic consumption, bringing the total amount exported of agricultural crops to the Kingdom to 12,500 tons within 32 days, in a move aimed at maximizing state resources.
