Washington Expresses Concern Over Attack on Israeli-Operated Tanker

A spokeswoman for the U.S. State Department said on Friday that Washington is troubled by reports of an attack on a tanker operated by Israel off the coast of Oman and is working with international partners to ascertain the facts surrounding the incident. Spokeswoman Jalina Porter added during a press briefing, "We are also deeply concerned about the reports and are closely monitoring the situation."
