After Coalition Strikes: Major Explosions at Houthi Storage Facilities in Sanaa

The Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen reported that it conducted airstrikes on legitimate military targets in Sanaa in response to threats. The coalition urged civilians not to gather or approach the targeted sites, noting that the operation complies with international humanitarian law and its customary rules.

Additionally, sources from Al Arabiya/Al Hadath revealed that large explosions erupted at Houthi militia storage facilities following the coalition strikes. The coalition confirmed in recent days the destruction of military locations belonging to the Houthis that included warehouses and facilities for ballistic missiles and drones in the capital Sanaa.

This occurred after the announcement of the initiation of airstrikes on legitimate military targets in Sanaa. It was added that the Houthi militia's hostile attempts to target civilians require a continuous operation to neutralize the threat. It clarified that the operation conforms with international humanitarian law and its customary rules.

It is worth noting that the coalition has intermittently carried out several strikes against the militias in recent days, which have not ceased for months in targeting civilians and endangering the lives of thousands of displaced persons in Marib Governorate.
