Widespread Deployment of the Army Around Polling Stations

The Lebanese Army announced via Facebook that its units have deployed around polling stations in various Lebanese regions, working to establish temporary and permanent barriers and conducting foot and vehicle patrols to ensure the security of the electoral process. The Army Command urges citizens to fully cooperate with the measures taken and to demonstrate national responsibility to succeed in and complete the electoral entitlement.
