An Egyptian bride died half an hour after her wedding while still in her bridal attire. The young woman, Nadia Taha Madi, from the village of Rida in the Minya district, passed away shortly after her wedding ceremony. She had called her father to express her happiness about her marriage and concluded positively, accepting her fate as decreed by God, according to Al-Yawm Al-Sabi newspaper.
The newspaper reported that Taha Madi, the bride's father, said, "After I handed over my daughter to her husband, she was very happy, danced with her siblings, welcomed her guests, and celebrated with them. After the celebration ended and she went to her marital home, she called me to share her joy. I hung up the phone and thought to myself, 'I'll go in and rest for a bit,' then I heard a knock on the door with people saying, 'Your daughter the bride has died.' I rushed to the groom's house only to find my daughter on the ground, lifeless."
He continued, "I tried to save her, but she had already passed away, and the bridal adornments were still on her face. I buried my daughter and said my final goodbye to her adorned in her wedding attire." The father mentioned that during the henna night, the bride was joyful, dancing with everyone in happiness, yet strangely, she seemed to be in a hurry for the wedding, as if she sensed her impending departure, urging the beautician, saying, "My husband is about to arrive to take me."
Moreover, the father noted that his daughter Nadia was a Quran holder and regularly performed her prayers, often urging him not to delay his prayers. He added, "I am still in shock and cannot comprehend what happened, but all I can do is pray for her and hope that God grants her a place among the people of paradise, and grants patience to me and her sisters, who have been crying day and night since their sister's departure."
