Hisham Said, the Assistant Undersecretary of the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for Pilgrims and Umrah Services, revealed the date for resuming Umrah flights from Egypt and reopening opportunities for Egyptians. Hisham Said stated that it has been decided to open the door for Umrah flights for Egyptians starting from December next month, noting that the Saudi Ministry of Hajj will hold a press conference today, Sunday, to announce all the details related to the reopening of flights and Umrah.
Said added, according to the "Masrawy" website: "The press conference will include details, and there will be pleasant surprises, God willing, for Egyptians." He continued, stating that the complete details regarding Umrah and the arrival of our Egyptian brothers will be announced from December 1, God willing.
Last Thursday, the Saudi Ministry of Interior announced that direct entry into the Kingdom from six countries would be permitted without the need to spend 14 days outside, with institutional quarantine for five days, effective from one o'clock in the morning on Wednesday, December 1, 2021.
It was decided to allow direct entry into the Kingdom from the following countries without the requirement of a 14-day stay outside before entry: (Egypt - Indonesia - Brazil - Pakistan - Vietnam - India).
