The global retail trading platform eToro is offering $500 rewards to U.S. investors when they open cryptocurrency trading accounts with at least $5,000.
Additionally, the platform has opened 380,000 new accounts in just the past 11 days, and its cryptocurrency trading volume has increased 25 times compared to the same period in 2020. The company has long allowed clients to leverage their bets on cryptocurrencies by up to twice the amounts deposited in their accounts.
The company warned its customers in a statement about its inability to meet purchase requests over the weekend due to enormous demand and insufficient liquidity resources to satisfy potential demand. It is noted that Bitcoin is traded continuously, and purchases tend to increase during holidays. The cryptocurrency rose over 11% on Thursday to $38,300.
