Thief Falls Asleep During Burglary and is Caught by Homeowners

In a strange incident, homeowners on Television Street in the city of Luxor, Egypt, caught a thief who fell asleep during a burglary, finding him dozing in bed inside one of the rooms. The Luxor Security Directorate received a signal from the Luxor Police Station based on a report from the homeowner, stating that he had apprehended a 30-year-old thief sleeping in his bed after dozing off during the attempted burglary shortly after midnight, according to newspapers "Al-Akhbar" and "Al-Masry Al-Youm". Immediately, security forces moved to the scene and managed to apprehend the thief and detain him at the police station while checking his record and information. A report for attempting theft was filed, and the accused was presented to the public prosecutor.
