The Iranian authorities discovered the body of director Babak Khorramdin, 47 years old, yesterday, Sunday, in a trash bin in the third district of Ekbatan, west of the capital Tehran. According to the Iranian Student News Agency "ISNA," Tehran's Chief Criminal Court Judge Mohammad Shahriari confirmed the murder of Khorramdin, stating that his parents have been arrested and admitted to committing the crime. Shahriari added that "according to the confessions, the murder occurred after a long-standing dispute between the director and his father, who first drugged him and then dismembered his body with a knife." Iranian media reported that the victim's father confessed: "My son was single, and we had many disagreements. On the morning of the murder (Sunday), I drugged him with medication and then stabbed him to death." He continued, "To dispose of the body, I dismembered it and threw it in the nearest garbage bin on the street." According to Tehran's Chief Criminal Court Judge, the investigation into the murder of director Babak Khorramdin is still ongoing.
