The National News Agency reported earlier that Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Walid Abdullah Bukhari received U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon Dorothy Shea at his residence in Yarze. The agency added that the meeting discussed the current political developments on both the regional and international fronts, as well as topics of mutual interest. Bukhari reiterated Saudi Arabia's commitment to Lebanon's sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity. He emphasized the necessity of quickly forming a government capable of achieving what the Lebanese people aspire to.
