Twitter has announced updates to its message search functionality. The platform clarified that the private message search feature has seen significant enhancement, allowing users to search the content of conversations and retrieve specific messages containing any searched keyword. Previously, users could only search for people's names or group chat names. The tech website The Verge reported that the service will be available in mobile applications on Apple and Android systems, among others. Additionally, during testing, it seemed that the improved search also worked on the web, as well as in iOS and Android apps. According to the site, it appears that this feature is unable to search messages older than two years.
