Tesla has added approximately $84 billion to its market capitalization, exceeding the entire market value of Ford Motor, after announcing plans for a second stock split in about two years. Tesla is the biggest winner in the NYSE FANG+ index this year. The stock closed up 8% at $1,091.84 in its last trading session, the highest level since January 12. Tesla last split its shares in August 2020, when its stock price surged by 743%.
