The National Center for Geophysics in Bhanes, part of the National Council for Scientific Research, reported that "at 8:45 PM Beirut time, an earthquake occurred on the border between Jordan and the West Bank, measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale, and was felt by residents of southern Lebanon."
