Walid Jumblatt, the leader of the "Progressive Socialist Party," sent a message to Norwegian Ambassador Martin Yttervik, condemning "the attack that occurred in Oslo," expressing condolences to "the Norwegian people and the families of the victims."
In the text of the message, Jumblatt stated: "I strongly condemn the heinous attack on innocent civilians that took place in Oslo, resulting in the deaths of two people and injuring several others. Hate crimes have become a dangerously evolving phenomenon around the world and require further measures to maintain stability in Norway, Europe, and the world in general. On this sad occasion, I would like to extend my warmest condolences and compassion to you, the families of the victims, and the Norwegian people."
