The American space agency "NASA" announced that it will send two new missions to the planet Venus to examine its atmosphere and geological characteristics. Each mission received funding of $500 million, with launches scheduled between 2028 and 2030. NASA Administrator Bill Nelson stated that the missions will provide "an opportunity to examine a planet we haven't visited in over 30 years." The last probe to visit the planet was the Magellan orbiter in 1990. The decision concerning the missions was made following a review of their potential scientific value and the feasibility of their development plans.
