Video: Precise Operation to Place the Most Dangerous Russian Missile on the Launch Pad

Russian Armed Forces television "Zvezda" showcased how the "Yars" missile is placed on a launch pad hidden underground. The "Yars" is a long-range ballistic missile capable of reaching distant continents like America when launched from Russian territory. The missile is transported to the launch site by a vehicle that must not exceed a speed of 40 kilometers per hour to avoid accidents.

It is carried to the launch site by a specialized tractor within the same container used for the "Yars" missiles launched from mobile platforms, although it does not resemble the missile containers seen in military parades. The container maintains a specific temperature and humidity level as if the missile were on the underground launch pad.

Upon arriving at the launch site, the missile is placed on the underground hidden launch pad. The operation requires high precision to ensure the massive missile does not deviate from its position by more than a few millimeters to maintain its full combat readiness. The "Yars" missile is currently considered Russia's most dangerous military missile, while also serving as a deterrent, as its operators hope not to uncover it after placing it to seal the site housing the "Yars" and its launch pad, which should only be opened when necessary to respond to any attack on Russia using nuclear weapons.
