Moroccan media and news pages reported the death of a supporter of Raja Casablanca at the moment Al-Ahli of Egypt scored the equalizing goal in the African Super Cup match on Wednesday. According to eyewitnesses, the 35-year-old Moroccan experienced a sudden heart attack when Al-Ahli tied the score with a goal by Taher Mohamed Taher at the end of the match. Immediately after the equalizing goal, the fan collapsed and requested to be taken home, but he passed away after being transferred to the hospital. The match was held in Doha for the African Super Cup 2021 between Al-Ahli, the reigning champions of the Africa Champions League, and Raja Casablanca, the title holders of the Africa Confederation Cup. Al-Ahli secured their eighth title against Raja after a penalty shootout that ended 6-5 in favor of Al-Ahli.
