Egyptian artist Sherine Abdel Wahab revealed the reasons behind her new look with shaved hair following her separation from her ex-husband, singer Hossam Habib, and whether she will experience love again and become a bride once more. She also shared her upcoming projects with her audience.
In televised statements, Sherine Abdel Wahab said: "I try to get through anything with the love of people, joy, laughter, and fun, and that’s how I presented myself at a concert in the UAE because people need to enjoy."
Regarding her shaved head look, Sherine Abdel Wahab explained: "I inherited this look from my father; whenever I feel a bit depressed, I shave my hair. This time was a bit difficult, and as hard as the event was, I shaved my hair and felt relieved."
When asked if she would advise girls to shave their hair if they are feeling depressed, Sherine Abdel Wahab stated: "Hair is a woman’s adornment, but I’m crazy; no one should imitate me."
Speaking about her upcoming projects, Sherine Abdel Wahab mentioned: "The album will, God willing, be a surprise for the audience, but I will release single songs periodically because the idea of releasing a complete album at once has become an old trend. God willing, I will also have work in cinema and television."
Sherine Abdel Wahab concluded her remarks by saying: "I will say goodbye to weakness, tears, and laziness, and hello to a little bit of love." When asked if we would see her as a bride, she replied: "I don’t know; if God has written it for me, it will happen."
