Issues with the sanitation system aboard the SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft have left a group of four astronauts without a toilet during their long journey back to Earth from the International Space Station, all while they are in a capsule that is only about 4 meters in diameter. According to Steve Stich, the director of the Commercial Crew Program, the capsule crew will have to rely on "underwear" during the return journey due to the inability to use the toilet.
