Saudi Arabia Bans Entry to Public and Private Establishments for the Unvaccinated Against COVID-19

The Saudi Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing announced that starting from August 1, 2021, entry to public and private establishments will not be permitted for those who are not vaccinated. It added that the vaccinated individuals are those who have received the COVID-19 vaccine or have recovered from it, all while adhering to precautionary measures to maintain public health. The ministry confirmed that the vaccination requirement will be mandatory for entering shopping centers, malls, wholesale and retail stores, public benefit markets, restaurants, cafes, barbershops, and women’s beauty salons.
