After 14 days of seven miners being trapped in gold mines following an underground explosion, rescue workers in China have managed to extract them from their predicament, while at least four others remain alive in the mine.
Officials stated that it may take another two weeks to clear severe obstacles before they can dig corridors to reach a group of ten men who have been receiving food supplies from the rescue team. Chinese state media previously reported that rescuers hope to reach the ten men in the fifth section of the mine.
