Israel accused Iran on Friday of carrying out an attack off the coast of Oman on a tanker operated by an Israeli company and stated that a strong response is necessary. In a statement, Foreign Minister Yair Lapid informed the British Foreign Secretary that there must be a harsh response to the attack, during which two crew members were killed, one British and the other Romanian. He added, "Iran is not just Israel's problem; it is a source of terrorism, destruction, and instability that harms us all. The world must not remain silent in the face of Iranian terrorism that also threatens the freedom of navigation."
