Israeli Army Announces Downing of Drone on Lebanese Border

The Israeli army announced on Monday that it had downed a drone belonging to Hezbollah that had penetrated from Lebanese territory into Israeli territory. The spokesperson for the Israeli army for Arabic media, Avichai Adraee, stated that "the army's forces detected the infiltration of a drone from Lebanese territory towards Israeli territory earlier today and shot it down." He reported that aerial surveillance units monitored the drone throughout the incident, indicating that "it is a drone seemingly associated with the terrorist organization Hezbollah," adding, "the Defense Forces will continue to operate to prevent any breach of Israel's sovereignty."
