On February 23, 2021, gold prices in Lebanon experienced a significant rise. The market opened with the following prices: 58.05 USD for 24-karat gold, 53.22 USD for 22-karat gold, 50.80 USD per gram for 21-karat gold, 43.54 USD for 18-karat gold, and 33.87 USD for 14-karat gold. The price for an ounce of gold was recorded at 1,806 USD. It is noted that these prices do not include the selling commission at jewelry shops in the Lebanese markets.
