Symptoms of Dehydration in the Body

The German Nutrition Society stated that dehydration in the body can be indicated by observing certain symptoms such as headaches, dizziness, poor concentration, and irritability. It added that symptoms may also include dry skin, chapped lips, dark urine, and constipation. To avoid these issues, the society recommends drinking at least 1.5 liters of fluids daily, along with consuming water-rich vegetables and fruits like cucumbers and watermelon. It is noted that water, especially mineral water, is considered the best for quenching thirst, in addition to unsweetened beverages.
