"Women's" Harsh Attack on Big Rami After His Second Marriage

Egyptian bodybuilder Mamdouh Elssbiay, known as "Big Rami," has faced widespread criticism and accusations of "ingratitude" following the confirmation of his second marriage. He has become a trending topic on social media, particularly among women, in a major campaign to support his first wife, Mrs. Marwa Al-Maghrabi. Commenters described the news as "harsh," considering that their marriage lasted nearly nine years and they have three daughters together.

Egyptian media personality Radwa El Sherbiny commented on "Big Rami's" marriage via her personal Twitter account, stating: "Instead of rewarding her for enduring difficult circumstances until he made it, he went and married someone else." One Egyptian girl wrote on Facebook: "The case of Big Rami illustrates why a woman should take half of her husband’s wealth in a divorce; otherwise, it’s injustice and slander... because that’s his cousin he married while she stood by him, having three children despite living in poverty and hardship... but in the end, he left her to marry."

Another girl wrote: "How can a person feel normal when there’s heartbreak and humiliation for a woman who preserved her marriage and lived through very difficult times? She and their three daughters, who are his own flesh and blood, wake up in the morning to find wedding and honeymoon photos abroad, without them knowing anything!"

Another girl stated: "Most men, when God blesses them, look for someone suitable for the new phase. The truth is, he might have his own reasons that are apart from others' views. These are choices, and everyone is free in their choices. As for you, dear lady, don’t remain under someone’s foot just to be moved from one phase to another. Just as he builds his life and glory, build your own success and be ready for life after him. If he leaves at any moment, you can just wish him farewell."

"Big Rami" has also faced criticism from men, especially as he did not inform his ex-wife and left her to discover the news from the media. One person wrote, "What Big Rami did is neither wrong nor forbidden... but how could he leave his wife, who has lived with him all these years, to know this piece of information only from the outside, with all the family secrets leaked to the press and people?"
