Israeli Airstrikes on Hamas Sites in Central Gaza

The Israeli Air Force targeted several sites belonging to Hamas in the central Gaza Strip in the early hours of Saturday. The Israeli military announced on Friday night that it had intercepted a missile launched from Gaza toward Ashkelon in southern Israel, while another missile fell in an open area near the city. The military spokesperson stated that the first missile was intercepted by the Israeli Iron Dome missile defense system. Israeli sources confirmed that at least two missiles were launched from Gaza toward Ashkelon. The spokesperson noted that a warning was activated in the city of Ashkelon and near Gaza, and sirens were sounded in both areas. The Magen David Adom organization reported that three settlers were injured while running to shelters after the warning sirens were triggered in Ashkelon, and they were taken to a hospital for treatment.
