Arrest of Four Saudis Due to "Terrifying" Pranks for Social Media

The police in the Riyadh region announced the arrest of four citizens who deliberately scared some visitors in public places, recording and posting it on social media. The electronic newspaper "Sabq" reported that an official spokesperson for the Riyadh police stated that, referring to the circulated video on social media of individuals wearing masks and intentionally frightening some people in public spaces, the security agencies were able to identify their identities and apprehend them. They are four citizens in their twenties and thirties. The Riyadh police spokesperson confirmed that they have been detained, and initial legal procedures have been taken against them, with their case referred to the Public Prosecution.
