Apple Develops Foldable Phone and Release Date

A new report by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo indicates that Apple is developing an 8-inch foldable iPhone that could be launched in 2023. The device is likely to feature a flexible QHD+ OLED screen, as well as new "silver nanowire" touch technology that allows for multiple folds and ensures better durability compared to current foldable devices.

Like other technology companies, Apple routinely works on various types of products, including foldable phones, so it is not unlikely that we will see the new phone within the next two to three years at most.

This is not the first time we've heard rumors about a foldable iPhone, and it probably won't be the last. In late last year, a report from DigiTimes suggested that Apple planned to release a foldable iPhone in 2022, while analyst Kuo predicted the device would come out in 2023.

Kuo also mentioned that the production of the foldable iPhone has not officially started yet, which means that Apple is still in the development phase, according to the website Digital Trends.
