Three Spices that Fight Cancer, Diabetes, and Alzheimer's

British nutrition expert Jessica Nibs has confirmed that certain spices help reduce the risk of cancer, diabetes, and other diseases.

**Turmeric**

Jessica Nibs explained that there are three natural spices known for their beneficial properties that help protect the body from serious illnesses. The first is "turmeric," or (curcumin), which helps prevent the risk of cancer and age-related diseases. She added, "Curcumin can extend lifespan by inhibiting fat oxidation and increasing antioxidant activity." A study showed that patients who consumed four grams of turmeric daily for a month had a 40% lower risk of developing colon cancer.

**Cinnamon**

Nibs listed "cinnamon" as the second spice, as it helps lower blood sugar levels in those with type 2 diabetes and reduces inflammation, according to Russia Today. She stated, "Results from one study showed that cinnamon extract can reduce the proliferation of cancer cells, leading to their death." The British expert confirms that "cinnamon oil" is very effective in combating tumors.

**Sage**

"Sage" ranked third among spices that help extend lifespan, as it improves brain function and memory, which is very important for those with Alzheimer's disease. Additionally, "sage" is beneficial in preventing heart diseases.
