New Fuel Prices After the Elections

Fadi Abu Shacra, the representative of fuel distributors, revealed that a new fuel price schedule will be issued before the parliamentary elections, emphasizing that the quantities necessary to meet market needs in the coming days are available at the stations. In a statement to Voice of Lebanon, he highlighted the need to adhere to the price schedule issued by the Ministry of Energy and confirmed that adjusting prices according to the daily dollar exchange rate puts the violating station at risk and subject to prosecution, given the lack of an official decision allowing such adjustments.
