Updates on the Removal of Rubble and Blast Debris

The Minister of Public Works and Transport in the caretaker government, Ali Hamieh, confirmed that "meetings at the ministry are ongoing to establish a framework for preparing the specifications for the removal of rubble and debris from the site of the Beirut port explosion, which occupies a vast area. This is aimed at optimal investment of the space, based on two principles: - Providing new revenues to the treasury. - No financial burden on the state; our goal is to contribute to the treasury, not to impose costs on it."
