Title: Mikati Goes Abroad!

The Central News Agency learned that caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati has left Beirut for London on a family visit, with plans to return to Beirut to participate in the first session after the elections, which will be called by the Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri in his capacity as caretaker Prime Minister. The information indicated that Mikati will be managing affairs from the Grand Serail. Mikati is taking advantage of his time abroad to conduct communications with French, European, and Arab officials regarding the upcoming phase and negotiations with the International Monetary Fund, following the framework agreement known as the "employees' agreement." It is noted that Lebanon is awaiting the return of a delegation from the Fund after the election of the Speaker, Deputy Speaker, and members of the Bureau of the Parliament. It is rumored that French and Saudi officials will arrive in Lebanon next month to formally launch the Fund.
