The Arab Contact Group at the ministerial level regarding the Ukraine crisis held a meeting on Sunday to discuss the developments of the crisis, its repercussions on the Arab region, and ways to continue contributing to efforts for its resolution. Jamal Rushdi, the official spokesperson for the Secretary-General of the Arab League, stated that the group agreed to continue monitoring and evaluating these developments during their successive sessions and to discuss how to achieve effective progress in efforts to resolve the crisis within the framework of the strong friendship relations that the Arab side shares with both parties involved. Additionally, he noted that the group agreed on the importance of activating Arab action in the upcoming phase, considering the significance of coordinating international efforts to contribute to a resolution of the crisis. Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov expressed Moscow's satisfaction with the positive positions of Arab states regarding the Ukrainian crisis.
