Russian forces continue to conduct joint patrols with Turkish forces, and in conjunction with Turkish threats of an attack on northern Syria, Russian units have reinforced their presence in the region and deployed military equipment.
According to a correspondent from "RT," Russian units have bolstered their presence along the frontline from Tel Tamr to Qamishli with four "Pantsir" air defense systems and two "Iskander" missile launch systems. Earlier on Thursday, Turkish media reported that the Turkish armed forces and Syrian factions loyal to Ankara have completed preparatory measures and are awaiting orders from Ankara to initiate a new operation across the border in northern Syria.
