Title: Video: Sherine: I Don't Want to Blame Someone Who Was My Husband, But His Love Disfigured Me

A new audio recording of star Sherine Abdel Wahab has been released by "Al-Jaras" magazine, in which she talks about her relationship with her ex-husband, artist Hossam Habib. Sherine Abdel Wahab said: "Hossam elevated me and put a crown on my head. Oh, how happy I was with this love, but it disfigured me because it made me endure what I couldn't. Four years is enough; you all saw what happened in four years and you can judge. I won’t speak about anyone who was my husband or those before him." She added: "I don't want to blame someone who was my husband, but in every country there are traditional girls and modern girls. If you have a woman in Lebanon who resembles us in Egypt, then that means she's coming from the village." She continued: "I liked Nawal Al Zoghbi's response to one of the interviewers when he asked her if she would agree to kiss her husband's hand in front of the world. She replied, 'Whoever it is, I don’t kiss it at home, why would I kiss it in front of the world?' She is right, I am wrong."
