Morocco Suffers Second Loss in Egypt Handball World Championship

The new administrative capital's covered hall hosted the match between the Moroccan national team and the Portuguese national team during the second round of matches in Group Six.

In this match, Morocco faced its second defeat in the handball World Championship against Portugal with a score of (33-20). Morocco managed to draw with Portugal in the first half with a score of (12-12), but physical differences and the lack of experience among the Atlas Lions prevented them from continuing their impressive performance.

Coach Nour Eddine Bouhdadi's team received its second consecutive loss after losing to Algeria (24-23).

It is worth mentioning that with this result, Morocco remains scoreless in last place, while the Portuguese national team qualified for the second round after raising its points to 4.
